Mornings Live with Will Goodings and Tineka Everaardt
Will Goodings
After ‘throwing together' an application for Mornings Live, Will's quick wit and easy going nature seemed a great fit for the show and after a couple of auditions the fit was confirmed.
Will's first foray into the media came while waiting for his big break on stage or screen. While studying the unlikely combination of Politics and Drama at Flinders University, Will began co-hosting a weekly radio program for Flinders University Radio via Radio Adelaide 101.5fm.
An opportunity soon arose to become part of Adelaide's highest rating radio station, 5AA, and Will began hosting a regular talk program while filling in for Radio doyen Bob Francis during the summer months.
The son of Adelaide TV veteran Graeme Goodings, Will currently balances commitments at Australia Live TV with studies in Journalism, so what he doesn't know he soon will.
Will approaches a story and delivers his opinion with thoughts and angles you may not have considered, so look out for his blogs, Facebook updates and tweets.
Tineka Everaardt
Tineka arrived at Australia Live TV after she was chosen out of hundreds of applicants to co-host Mornings Live. Tineka's sparkling personality and good humour made her an obvious choice to be one of the people selected to help start the day and get you up to date.
Tineka sure has crammed a lot into the last few years including a degree in Media and Communications (with a major in Journalism), she's worked for Channel 7 as a Today Tonight research and production assistant but she has always known that her true passion is working in front of the camera.
For two years she worked as a journalist for Australian Independent Radio News, writing and presenting news and sports bulletins... as Tineka says "even at my young age I know exactly where I want to go and am prepared with a heap of enthusiasm to get there!" Perhaps it runs in the family? Her dad's been an on-air personality in Melbourne for 30 years and can be heard from 9am on Magic 1278.
Tineka has hosted two seasons of music show ‘1700' on Channel 31 and during the Student Youth Network awards was nominated for ‘TV Presenter of the Year' and won ‘Outstanding Outside Broadcast' for her interview with the band Panic At The Disco.
Out of the many hundreds of hopefuls, Tineka recently made it to the top 5 finalists in a competition held by Racing Victoria to find the ‘Spring Racing Spruiker', a media personality who would report on the races.
Send Tineka an email any time by following the ‘Contact Us' link on the home page and watch out for her on Facebook and Twitter.
